The Food Network just released the River Run DVD set, so if you didn't get enough of the doughnuts, tamales and lutefisk when the series aired, by gosh here's your chance to commit to memory all those tasty and sometimes odd treats:
Dear Feasting Fans,
Well I got a wee bit busy on the Mississippi ride and decided to abandon the whole blog thing. Sorry about that. Just so you know, the trip went darned well and the only injury sustained was to my waistline which has regrettably expanded beyond all acceptable limits. While I get back on the treadmill, why don’t you look over some links from various stops we made along the mighty Mississip. If you’re interested, there are a few links to products that helped us get to where we were going. We’ll add to this list from time to time so keep checking. Eventually we’ll even provide location info for places that don’t have web sites. Yes, there are still actual businesses that don’t … Imagine that. Think fast, ride safe, feast hard, AB
Autocom
Like having your own switchboard operator on your bike. Don’t try communicating without one.
BMW Motorrad
Wanna get a look at the bike I rode this year? Follow the link, then click on yellow. I like yellow.
Kershaw Knives
We all carry knives and these guys make the knives we guys carried. My personal blade, the Ken Onion Cyclone 1630.
Shoei MultiTec
Enough of you roadheads have asked about my choice in helmets to convince me to put this info out here for you. Besides, when it comes to protecting the old noggin, well, I pretty much preach the Get What You Pay For gospel, and recommend the good stuff - the Shoei MultiTec.
